WB-1, WB-2,WB-3 macromolecule metallic putty are developed by
our institute. After its performance testing and customer use, it
is obvious that its main technical criteria and performance has
reached the high level compared with foreign same products, it has
lots of advantages such as high mending speed, easy constru-ction
, low cost and safe etc.

The WB-1 metallic putty is machineable which
is suitable for repairing all kinds of parts of machines and equipment
such as shaft, shaft sleeve, pump body, cylinder, valve etc. Its
application temperature is below 150℃.
The WB-2 metallic putty is corrosion-resisting and wearres-isting
after solidified, but it’s suitable for repairing the tube plate
of heater, tower, reaction kettle, enamel kettle reactor, the application
temperature is below 150℃.
The WB-3 metallic putty is suitable for repairing coppery equipment
and parts.

1. Surface treatment: the surface
which need to be repaired is roughened, cleaned and dried. All the
old paint, rust and millscale must be removed until its metal surface
appears and the surface has reached cert-ain roughness(Sa 2.5),
then use cleaning agent such as trichloroethane or acetone to make
surface degrease.
2. Mixing: WB-1, WB-2,WB-3 are bicomponent materials, mix Base(A)
and Solidifier(B) together thoroughly according to strict mixing
ratio until the mixed material appear to homogeneous color, then
the mixed material can be painted to the prepared surface.
Mixing ratio:
WB-1(weight ratio) A:B=7:1 (volume ratio) A:B=5:1
WB-2(weight ratio) A:B=6:1 (volume ratio) A:B=5:1
WB-3(weight ratio) A:B=8:1 (volume ratio) A:B=5:1
3. Curing time: at normal temperature(20℃) the curing time is
4hr; after 8hr it can be normally used or machined.
Corrosive performance: it can be used in a majority of acid, alkali,
salt and some organic acid for a long time. |
